In 2013, joined Alibaba and became a core member of the AnalyticDB and Data Lake Analytics cloud-native OLAP database teams. Later transitioned to product management as a Senior Product Expert at Alibaba Cloud, leading the international database product strategy and driving Alibaba Cloud into the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud DBMS Leaders in 2020 — a position it has retained ever since.
Currently Head of Products at DataCloud, focused on designing AI-ready data analytics infrastructure and AI-powered data exploration products, exploring the next-generation paradigm of large-scale data systems combined with AI. Holds over 50 granted and published invention patents spanning relational databases, big data, distributed computing, and cloud computing.
